This urbanization forming part of the ‘Zona Naturista’ at Vera Playa, Andalucia was completed in 2001, it comprises of 7 ‘Moorish’ style apartment blocks, each block containing 8 apartments on 3 levels. 

La Menara is a relaxed 24/7 naturist environment and is located no more than 150 meters from the sandy Vera Playa Naturist beach. 

All of the apartments are privately owned by various nationalities, the normal occupancy level is around 25% (some permanent) at anyone time, (July & August occupancy may rise to approx. 60%) however, the urbanization remains quiet and peaceful.

Unlike later developments within the ‘Zona Naturista’ La Menara has been designed and built with open plan gardens separating the apartment blocks thus creating a feeling of space. The gardens are well established and have matured to provide a ‘green oasis’ in what is a hot and dry part of Spain. Gardeners are employed by the community to ensure they always look their best.  

Access is provided by means of 2 pedestrian gates at the front of the urbanization and vehicle access by a remotely operated gate to the parking area at the rear.

Two  open air filtered non-heated pools are provided, one  being the swimming pool of a generous size with steps leading in at the shallow end (depth approx. 0.5 Mtr).

The second pool being the small children’s round pool, this is shallow throughout with a depth of no more than 0.5Mtr.

Showers are provided around the poolside.  

The pools are maintained to a high standard with regular cleaning and water quality analysis checks to ensure they are kept in a healthy condition.
